Illinois High School Volleyball - Illini West winner over West Prairie

October 16, 2025: Carthage, IL 62321

Illini West Chargers (Carthage, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting West Prairie Cyclones (Sciota, IL), 2-0 in a league challenge.

The Chargers (21-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Camp Point Central (Camp Point, IL). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-26 record. In their last challenge, Camp Point Central beat New Berlin (New Berlin, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cyclones meet the Rushville-Industry Rockets (Rushville, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 20. West Prairie will attempt to upgrade on its 19-15 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 13-14 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Illini West (Carthage, IL).
