Maryland High School Volleyball - Long Reach over Oakland Mills

In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Long Reach Lightning volleyball team scored a 3-0 win over the Oakland Mills Scorpions.

Next up, the Lightning face the Severna Park Falcons (Severna Park, MD) in a Class 3A East Region II game, on Tuesday, October 21. Long Reach will attempt to advance on its 5-7 season record. The Falcons go into the game with a 7-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Old Mill (Millersville, MD).

The Scorpions (3-12) will now prepare for their game against Chesapeake (Pasadena, MD). The Cougars go into the non-league game with a 8-3 record. In their last game, Chesapeake gained a win over Annapolis (Annapolis, MD), 3-0, in a non-league game.
