The Lopez Lobos volleyball squad (Lopez, WA), was edged 3-2 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Orcas Island Vikings (Eastsound, WA)
With the win, Orcas Island improves its record to 6-7 on the season. The Vikings travel to Mt. Baker (Deming, WA) to encounter the Mountaineers in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 18. The Mountaineers go into the battle with a record of 0-9. Mt. Baker lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA)
The Lobos now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shoreline Christian for a 1B Northwest contest on Monday, October 20. Lopez will battle a Chargers team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Grace Academy (Marysville, WA). The Chargers record now stands at 7-3.
