In Thursday's league bout, the Newell-Fonda Mustangs (Newell, IA) volleyball team knocked off the visiting South Central Calhoun Titans (Lake City, IA), by a margin of 3-0.
The Mustangs now hold a 8-10 record. They take the field next when they host Sioux Central for a Twin Lakes match on Thursday, October 16.
The Titans (4-11) will now prepare for their match against Sioux Central (Sioux Rapids, IA). The Rebels enter the Twin Lakes match with a 9-4 record.
