The Pinckney Pirates volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Salem Rocks to 1 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Pirates now have a 13-12 record. They play next when they host Lincoln for a South Eastern - White outing on Tuesday, October 21. Pinckney will play a Railsplitters team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Dundee (Dundee, MI). The Railsplitters record now stands at 8-17.
With the loss, Salem drops to 10-8 on the season. The Rocks travel to Pioneer (Ann Arbor, MI) to confront the Pioneers in a non-league game on Thursday, October 23. The Pioneers go into the game with a record of 13-11.
