The West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] Cougars volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Beardstown Tigers to 0 in the Cougars non-league victory on Monday.

The Cougars now have a 17-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brown County for a Western Illinois Valley game on Tuesday, October 18. West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] will confront a Hornets team coming off a 2-0 league win over North Greene (White Hall, IL). The Hornets record now stands at 23-10.

The Tigers (8-22) will now prepare for their game against Rushville-Industry (Rushville, IL). The Rockets enter the non-league game with a 9-22 record. In their last game, Rushville-Industry dropped by West Prairie (Sciota, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
