The St. John Paul II Lions topped the visiting Bishop Connolly Cougars volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Monday's non-league test.
The Lions now have a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rising Tide for a Cape and Islands test on Wednesday, October 19. St. John Paul II will confront a team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Sturgis East (Hyannis, MA). The record now stands at 4-9.
The Cougars (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Avon (Avon, MA). The Panthers enter the Mayflower Comprehensive test with a 4-10 record. In their last test, Avon dropped by West Bridgewater (West Bridgewater, MA), 3-0, in a league test.
