The Cimarron Rams volleyball team (Cimarron, NM), was edged 3-2 in Monday's non-league challenge with the host Mora Rangers/Rangerettes (Mora, NM)
The Rangers/Rangerettes (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Mesa Vista (Ojo Caliente, NM). The Trojans come into the 2A District 5 challenge with a 2-10 record. In their last challenge, Mesa Vista was edged by Penasco (Penasco, NM), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Rams encounter the Springer Red Devils (Springer, NM) in a 1A District 5 challenge, on Thursday, October 20. Cimarron will attempt to move on its 8-8 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to Roy/Mosquero (Roy, NM).
