South Dakota High School Volleyball - Viborg/Hurley tips Freeman

Viborg/Hurley Cougars (Viborg, SD) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Freeman Flyers (Freeman, SD), 3-2 in a league match.

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Irene/Wakonda Eagles (Irene, SD) in a B Region 5 match, on Tuesday, October 18. Viborg/Hurley will attempt to advance on its 15-11 season record. The Eagles come into the match with a 4-20 record after their 3-0 league loss to Canistota (Canistota, SD).

With the loss, Freeman drops to 14-10 on the campaign. The Flyers travel to Hanson (Alexandria, SD) to meet the Beavers in a non-league game on Tuesday, October 18. The Beavers enter the game with a record of 10-13. Hanson lost 3-2 in their recent non-league game against Scotland (Scotland, SD)
