The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Midlakes Screaming Eagles (Clifton Springs, NY) and the host Gananda Central Blue Panthers (Walworth, NY), saw Midlakes's volleyball squad beat Gananda Central by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Midlakes upgrades its record to 11-6 on the year. The Screaming Eagles host Wayne (Ontario Center, NY) to play the Eagles in a Section 5 Finger Lakes - East bout on Tuesday, October 18. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 14-7. Wayne lost 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Irondequoit (Rochester, NY)

The Blue Panthers now own a 13-2 record. They play next when they host East Rochester for a Section 5 Wayne County bout on Wednesday, October 19. Gananda Central will play a Bombers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Sodus (Sodus, NY). The Bombers record now stands at 9-5.
