In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals.

The Spartans (22-8) will now prepare for their battle against Bloomington Central Catholic (Bloomington, IL). The Saints come into the Illini Prairie battle with a 22-11 record. In their last battle, Bloomington Central Catholic achieved victory over Pontiac (Pontiac, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Cardinals encounter the Sullivan Redskins (Sullivan, IL) in a Central Illinois battle, on Thursday, October 20. Warrensburg-Latham will attempt to advance on its 21-12 season record. The Redskins come into the battle with a 17-8 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Cerro Gordo/Bement (Cerro Gordo, IL).
