With the win, Western Grove upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Warriors host Lead Hill (Lead Hill, AR) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, October 20. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Lead Hill lost 54-47 in their recent non-league bout against Viola (Viola, AR)

Next up, the Leopards play the Valley Springs Tigers (Valley Springs, AR) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 27. Alpena will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 66-32 non-league win over Jacksonville Lighthouse (Jacksonville, AR).
