Illinois High School Soccer - Rock Island held off by Normal Community

The Normal Community Ironmen held off the host Rock Island Rocks soccer squad by a margin of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league match.

The Ironmen now sport a 18-6 record. They play next when they travel to East Moline United for a non-league match on Friday, October 20. Normal Community will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 9-0 league win over Pekin (Pekin, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 14-3.

With the loss, Rock Island drops to 10-10 on the season.
