Connecticut High School Volleyball - Amity Regional over Woodland Regional

The Amity Regional Spartans (Woodbridge, CT) volleyball overcame the visiting Woodland Regional Hawks (Beacon Falls, CT), 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

With the win, Amity Regional upgrades its record to 16-1 on the year. The Spartans host Branford (Branford, CT) to play the Hornets in a non-league outing on Friday, October 20. The Hornets go into the outing with a record of 11-5. Branford won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Wilbur Cross (New Haven, CT)

The Hawks now own a 13-2 record. They play next when they travel to Derby for a Naugatuck Valley outing on Thursday, October 19. Woodland Regional will play a Red Raiders squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Ansonia (Ansonia, CT). The Red Raiders record now stands at 1-15.
