The Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans (Mt. Vernon, SD) volleyball overcame the visiting Gregory Gorillas (Gregory, SD), 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Titans now have a 15-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bon Homme for a A Region 5 test on Saturday, October 21. Mt. Vernon/Plankinton will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Parkston (Parkston, SD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 14-8.

The Gorillas (8-14) will now prepare for their test against Wagner (Wagner, SD). The Red Raiders enter the non-league test with a 19-5 record. In their last test, Wagner gained a win over Winner (Winner, SD), 3-0, in a non-league test.
