West Virginia High School Volleyball - Hoover can't hold off Huntington

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Huntington Highlanders volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Hoover Huskies.

The Highlanders (13-13) will now prepare for their battle against Parkersburg South (Parkersburg, WV). The Patriots come into the non-league battle with a 14-10 record. In their last battle, Parkersburg South nudged Gilmer County (Glenville, WV), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Huskies encounter the Roane County Raiders (Spencer, WV) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 19. Hoover will attempt to advance on its 29-15 season record. The Raiders come into the battle with a 15-9 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Lewis County (Weston, WV).
