The Ben L. Smith Golden Eagles football squad scored 52 points and limited the visiting High Point Central Bison to 13 in the Golden Eagles league triumph on Thursday.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Eastern Guilford for a Mid-State 3A test on Friday, October 25. Ben L. Smith will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 42-0 league win over Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-3.
With the defeat, High Point Central drops to 0-8 on the campaign. The Bison host Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC) to meet the Camels in a Mid-State 3A test on Friday, October 25. The Camels come into the test with a record of 1-7. Atkins lost 27-22 in their recent league test against Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC)
