The Northwest Raiders felled the host Church Point Bears football team by a score of 38-13 in Thursday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Raiders play the Mamou Demons (Mamou, LA) in a 3A District 4 challenge, on Friday, October 25. Northwest will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Demons go into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 24-14 league loss to Ville Platte (Ville Platte, LA).
The Bears (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Crowley (Crowley, LA). The Gent go into the 3A District 4 challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Crowley toppled Pine Prairie (Pine Prairie, LA), 44-12, in a league challenge.
