The Mountainside Wolves got by the visiting Greyhills Academy Knights football team by a score of 1-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Wolves play the Phoenix Christian Cougars (Phoenix, AZ) in a 2A Agua Fria challenge, on Friday, October 25. Mountainside will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Cougars go into the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 35-19 league win over Cortez (Phoenix, AZ).
The Knights (0-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Tuba City (Tuba City, AZ). The Warriors go into the 2A Little Colorado challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Tuba City nipped Valley (Sanders, AZ), 44-0, in a league challenge.
