Texas High School Football - Polytechnic holds off North Side

October 17, 2024: Fort Worth, TX 76164

The Polytechnic Parrots football squad scored 21 points and limited the host North Side Steers to 18 in the Parrots league triumph on Thursday.

The Parrots now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host South Hills for a 5A-1 Region I District 4 test on Friday, October 25. Polytechnic will clash with a Scorpions squad coming off a 59-9 league loss to Chisholm Trail (Fort Worth, TX). The Scorpions record now stands at 1-6.

With the defeat, North Side drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Steers travel to Saginaw (Saginaw, TX) to clash with the Rough Riders in a 5A-1 Region I District 4 test on Friday, October 25. The Rough Riders come into the test with a record of 7-0. Saginaw won 39-31 in their recent league test against Paschal (Fort Worth, TX)
