The St. Augustine Saints football squad scored 21 points and limited the visiting Point Loma Pointers to 14 in the Saints league triumph on Thursday.

The Saints now hold a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln for a test on Saturday, October 26. St. Augustine will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA). The Hornets record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, Point Loma drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Pointers host La Jolla (La Jolla, CA) to meet the Vikings in a non-league test on Thursday, October 24. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 0-3. La Jolla lost 27-8 in their recent league test against Mira Mesa (San Diego, CA)
