The Islands Sharks flag football squad scored 13 points and limited the host Beach Bulldogs to 12 in the Sharks league triumph on Thursday.

The Sharks now hold a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Groves for a D2 Area 3 test on Thursday, October 17. Islands will meet a Rebels squad coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Islands (Savannah, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 4-2.

With the defeat, Beach drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA) to meet the Yellow Jackets in a non-league test on Monday, October 21. The Yellow Jackets come into the test with a record of 2-0. Southeast Bulloch won 14-6 in their recent non-league test against South Effingham (Guyton, GA)
