Francis Scott Key Eagles (Union Bridge, MD) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Catoctin Cougars (Thurmont, MD), 5-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Francis Scott Key moves its record to 3-12 on the campaign. The Eagles host Smithsburg (Smithsburg, MD) to meet the Leopards in a non-league test on Saturday, October 19. The Leopards come into the test with a record of 8-6. Smithsburg won 9-0 in their recent league test against South Hagerstown (Hagerstown, MD)
The Cougars now sport a 0-12 record.
