Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Chariho Chargers (Wood River Junction, RI) and the host Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI), saw Chariho's soccer squad triumph over Mt. Hope by a count of 7-2.
The Chargers (11-5) will now prepare for their battle against Pilgrim (Warwick, RI). The Patriots enter the Division 1 battle with a 1-14 record. In their last battle, Pilgrim was overwhelmed by South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI), 1-0, in a league game.
The Huskies (5-9) will now prepare for their game against Smithfield (Esmond, RI). The Sentinels enter the Division 1 game with a 1-11 record.
