The Hillcrest Hawks football squad scored 14 points and limited the host Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals to 0 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Hawks now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Lemont for a test on Wednesday, October 23. Hillcrest will meet a Lemont HS squad coming off a 38-18 non-league win over Bremen (Midlothian, IL). The Lemont HS record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, Blue Island Eisenhower drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Shepard (Palos Heights, IL) to meet the Astros in a non-league test on Thursday, October 24. The Astros come into the test with a record of 8-0. Shepard won 47-6 in their recent non-league test against Reavis (Burbank, IL)
