The Fruitport Trojans got by the host Holland Dutch football team by a score of 16-14 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Trojans play the Kelloggsville Rockets (Wyoming, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 24. Fruitport will attempt to improve on its 6-2 season record.
The Dutch (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Godwin Heights (Wyoming, MI). The Wolverines go into the non-league challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Godwin Heights was edged by Belding (Belding, MI), 52-12, in a non-league challenge.
