The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) and the host Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC), witnessed Pinecrest's football squad edge Scotland by a tally of 28-21.
The Patriots (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hoke County (Raeford, NC). The Bucks enter the contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Hoke County got by Union Pines (Cameron, NC), 28-12, in a non-league contest.
