The Greenbrier East Spartans smashed the visiting Capital Cougars soccer team by a tally of 10-0 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next, the Spartans face the Pocahontas County Warriors (Dunmore, WV) in a non-league game, on Saturday, October 19. Greenbrier East will attempt to advance on its 11-4 season record. The Warriors enter the game with a 7-5 record after their 3-1 non-league win over James Monroe (Lindside, WV).
The Cougars (7-12) will now prepare for their game against South Charleston (South Charleston, WV). The Black Eagles enter the Mountain State game with a 9-8 record. In their last game, South Charleston gained a win over Oak Hill (Oak Hill, WV), 3-0, in a non-league game.
