East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC), 6-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, East Rowan moves its record to 5-12 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to meet the Vikings in a South Piedmont 3A test on Monday, October 21. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 8-7. Central Cabarrus lost 2-1 in their recent league test against Carson (China Grove, NC)

The Tigers now sport a 6-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northwest Cabarrus for a non-league test on Monday, October 21. Mount Pleasant will meet a Trojans team coming off a 4-1 league win over East Rowan (Salisbury, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 9-4.
