North Reading Hornets (North Reading, MA) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Georgetown Royals (Georgetown, MA), 7-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, North Reading advances its record to 16-0 on the campaign. The Hornets host Hamilton-Wenham Regional (South Hamilton, MA) to clash with the Generals in a Cape Ann test on Tuesday, October 22. The Generals come into the test with a record of 10-4. Hamilton-Wenham Regional won 3-1 in their recent league test against Pentucket Regional (West Newbury, MA)

The Royals now have a 1-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Newburyport for a Cape Ann test on Tuesday, October 22. Georgetown will clash with a Clippers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Amesbury (Amesbury, MA). The Clippers record now stands at 7-5.
