Jefferson J-Hawks (Rockford, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Rockford Auburn Knights (Rockford, IL), 7-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Jefferson advances its record to 6-11 on the campaign.

The Knights now have a 3-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Guilford for a Northern Illinois NIC-10 test on Saturday, October 19. Rockford Auburn will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 7-10.
