Wilde Lake Wildecats (Columbia, MD) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Long Reach Lightning (Columbia, MD), 1-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Wilde Lake moves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Wildecats travel to Glenelg (Glenelg, MD) to meet the Gladiators in a Howard County test on Monday, October 21. The Gladiators come into the test with a record of 11-0. Glenelg won 2-1 in their recent league test against Marriotts Ridge (Marriottsville, MD)
The Lightning now sport a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Atholton for a Howard County test on Friday, October 18. Long Reach will meet a Raiders team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Centennial (Ellicott City, MD). The Raiders record now stands at 3-8.
