The Southwest Georgia Academy Warriors triumphed over the host Central Fellowship Christian Academy Lancers softball squad by a count of 12-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Warriors play the Edmund Burke Academy Spartans (Waynesboro, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 17. Southwest Georgia Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 24-1 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 12-7 record after their 13-5 non-league win over Burke County (Waynesboro, GA).
The Lancers (11-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Heritage (Newnan, GA). The Hawks enter the non-league challenge with a 12-1 record. In their last challenge, Heritage overcame Flint River Academy (Woodbury, GA), 14-2, in a league challenge.
