The Lincoln-Way East Griffins volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Andrew Thunderbolts to 0 in the Griffins league triumph on Thursday.

The Griffins now possess a 27-4 record. They play next when they travel to Willowbrook for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 19. Lincoln-Way East will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Crete-Monee (Crete, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 25-6.

With the loss, Andrew drops to 7-18 on the campaign. The Thunderbolts travel to York (Elmhurst, IL) to clash with the Dukes in a non-league outing on Friday, October 18. The Dukes come into the outing with a record of 20-8. York lost 2-1 in their recent league outing against Lyons (LaGrange, IL)
