The Cougars (5-11) will now prepare for their challenge against St. John Paul II Catholic (Avondale, AZ). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 16-11 record. In their last challenge, St. John Paul II Catholic edged Highland Prep West (Avondale, AZ), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Firebirds meet the Scottsdale Christian Academy Eagles (Phoenix, AZ) in a 2A - Central challenge, on Monday, October 21. BASIS Phoenix will attempt to upgrade on its 12-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 20-8 record after their 3-0 league win over Red Rock (Sedona, AZ).
