In Thursday's league challenge, the host Sehome Mariners volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Blaine Borderites.
The Mariners (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Sumner (Sumner, WA). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 7-10 record. In their last challenge, Sumner was beaten by Spanaway Lake (Spanaway, WA), 3-2, in a league challenge.
Next, the Borderites meet the Ferndale Golden Eagles (Ferndale, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge, on Monday, October 21. Blaine will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the battle with a 7-6 record after their 3-1 league loss to Lynden (Lynden, WA).
