Waterford Lancers (Waterford, CT) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Branford Hornets (Branford, CT), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Waterford improves its record to 11-6 on the season. The Lancers host Foran (Milford, CT) to face the Lions in a non-league test on Friday, October 18. The Lions go into the test with a record of 16-2. Foran won 3-0 in their recent league test against Law (Milford, CT)

The Hornets now own a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fitch for a non-league test on Monday, October 21. Branford will face a Falcons squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI). The Falcons record now stands at 8-10.
