In Thursday's league challenge, the host McKinley Tech Trainers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Cardozo Clerks.
The Trainers (11-4) will now prepare for their challenge against School Without Walls (Washington, DC). The Penguins come into the DCIAA challenge with a 21-4 record. In their last challenge, School Without Walls beat Anacostia (Washington, DC), 2-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Clerks meet the Bell Griffins (Washington, DC) in a DCIAA challenge, on Tuesday, October 22. Cardozo will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Griffins come into the challenge with a 12-6 record after their 2-0 league win over Bard (Washington, DC).
