The Wilton Beavers volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Cascade Cougars to 1 in the Beavers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Beavers now have a 29-7 record. They play next when they travel to Fairfield for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 22. Wilton will play a Trojans team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Albia (Albia, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 16-19.

With the loss, Cascade drops to 15-17 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Alburnett (Alburnett, IA) to play the Pirates in a non-league outing on Monday, October 21. The Pirates come into the outing with a record of 5-19. Alburnett won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Prince of Peace Prep (Clinton, IA)
