In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Hahnville Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Central Lafourche Trojans.
The Tigers (20-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Newman (New Orleans, LA). The Greenies come into the non-league challenge with a 16-7 record. In their last challenge, Newman beat Assumption (Napoleonville, LA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Trojans play the Bourgeois Braves (Gray, LA) in a Division I District 7 challenge, on Tuesday, October 22. Central Lafourche will attempt to upgrade on its 16-14 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 7-21 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to New Iberia (New Iberia, LA).
