The Clear Lake Lions edged the host Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next up, the Lions face the Roland-Story Norsemen (Story City, IA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, October 22. Clear Lake will attempt to advance on its 12-16 season record. The Norsemen go into the game with a 29-4 record after their 2-0 league win over Ballard (Huxley, IA).
The Cadets (5-24) will now prepare for their game against West Delaware (Manchester, IA). The Hawks go into the non-league game with a 35-6 record. In their last game, West Delaware was edged by Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
