In Thursday's league challenge, the host Manton Rangers volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Evart Wildcats.

The Rangers (27-11) will now prepare for their challenge against McBain (McBain, MI). The Ramblers enter the Highland challenge with a 16-12 record. In their last challenge, McBain beat Grayling (Grayling, MI), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Pine River Area Bucks (Leroy, MI) in a Highland challenge, on Tuesday, October 22. Evart will attempt to upgrade on its 14-12 season record. The Bucks enter the challenge with a 15-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Roscommon (Roscommon, MI).
