Next up, the Miners face the Carrollton Hawks (Carrollton, IL) in a non-league game, on Monday, October 21. Gillespie will attempt to advance on its 8-20 season record. The Hawks go into the game with a 25-4 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Jacksonville (Jacksonville, IL).

The Vandals (5-23) will now prepare for their game against Carlyle (Carlyle, IL). The Indians/Lady Indians go into the non-league game with a 24-7 record. In their last game, Carlyle gained a win over Wesclin (Trenton, IL), 2-0, in a league game.
