Illinois High School Volleyball - Midwest Central tips Peoria Christian

In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Midwest Central Raiders volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Peoria Christian Chargers.

The Raiders (4-17) will now prepare for their challenge against Elmwood (Elmwood, IL). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 7-24 record. In their last challenge, Elmwood was nudged by Macomb (Macomb, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Chargers meet the Forreston Cardinals (Forreston, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 19. Peoria Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 16-11 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 11-15 record after their 2-0 league loss to Pecatonica (Pecatonica, IL).
