In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the West Central Trojans.
The Titans (19-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Gregory (Gregory, SD). The Gorillas come into the non-league challenge with a 9-12 record. In their last challenge, Gregory beat Colome (Colome, SD), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Trojans meet the Mt. Vernon Mustangs (Mt. Vernon, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 17. West Central will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record.
