With the win, Newburyport advances its record to 12-4 on the season. The Clippers host Masconomet Regional (Boxford, MA) to face the Chieftains in a non-league test on Monday, October 21. The Chieftains go into the test with a record of 14-3. Masconomet Regional won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Chelmsford (North Chelmsford, MA)

The now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lynnfield for a Cape Ann test on Monday, October 21. Pentucket Regional will face a Pioneers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School (Hathorne, MA). The Pioneers record now stands at 10-6.
