The Safford Bulldogs (Safford, AZ) volleyball knocked off the host Sabino Sabercats (Tucson, AZ), 3-0 in Thursday's league bout.

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Blue Ridge Yellow Jackets (Lakeside, AZ) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 18. Safford will attempt to move on its 29-9 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the bout with a 18-18 record after their 3-1 league win over Alchesay (Whiteriver, AZ).

With the loss, Sabino drops to 9-15 on the campaign. The Sabercats travel to Tanque Verde (Tucson, AZ) to clash with the Hawks in a 3A - South bout on Tuesday, October 22. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 14-10.
