Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Wirt County Tigers (Elizabeth, WV) and the visiting Sissonville Indians (Charleston, WV), observed Wirt County's volleyball team top Sissonville by a count of 2-0.

The Tigers (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against St. Marys (St. Marys, WV). The Blue Devils enter the non-league contest with a 10-10 record. In their last contest, St. Marys notched a victory over Beallsville (Beallsville, OH), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Indians battle the Winfield Generals (Winfield, WV) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 19. Sissonville will attempt to move on its 3-27 season record. The Generals enter the contest with a 21-11 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Poca (Poca, WV).
