The Acadiana Rams (Lafayette, LA) football were winner over the visiting Lafayette Lions (Lafayette, LA), 42-21 in Friday's league outing.

The Rams now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southside for a 5A District 3 outing on Friday, October 24. Acadiana will clash with a Sharks squad coming off a 63-17 league win over Sulphur (Sulphur, LA). The Sharks record now stands at 6-1.

With the defeat, Lafayette falls to 4-3 on the year. The Lions host Barbe (Lake Charles, LA) to face the Buccaneers in a 5A District 3 game on Friday, October 24. The Buccaneers enter the game with a record of 2-5. Barbe won 49-0 in their recent league game against New Iberia (New Iberia, LA)
