Georgia High School Football - Alcovy sneaks past Apalachee

October 17, 2025: Covington, GA 30014

The Alcovy Tigers football squad scored 27 points and limited the visiting Apalachee Wildcats to 21 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Clarke Central Gladiators (Athens, GA) in a AAAAA Region 8 challenge, on Friday, October 24. Alcovy will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Gladiators go into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 28-9 league win over Loganville (Loganville, GA).

The Wildcats (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Habersham Central (Mt. Airy, GA). The Raiders go into the AAAAA Region 8 challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Habersham Central nipped Alcovy (Covington, GA), 40-14, in a league challenge.
